From The House:
Back in spring 2006, Aaron reed put some pressure on the design department to create a wakeskate shape that works for himself, as well as all of his friends. With his midseason release in 2006, a board was created to meet his demands. Liquid Force built a board that popped and tracked good enough for Aaron to land his backside big-spins wake to wake, as well as 3 shuvs. For fall 2007, the shape has remained consistent, but new sizes have been added. Now Danny Hampson, Phillip Basino, Aaron Reed, and the rest of the team will have 3 sizes to pick when they want to skate. Liquid Force also added there exclusive "X" Factor laminates for more pop than you'll know what to do with.

Key Features of The Liquid Force Impulse Wakeskate:
  • Aaron Reed asymmetrical Shape: Wider and more squared off in the nose than our previous designs. The board tracks better, releases from the water quicker, and is more stable, underfoot.
  • LF Exclusive X-Factor Laminates: Two layers of diagonal veneers add torsional stiffness for faster ollie response and an overall stiffer ride. More wood grain in more directions adds strength and durability
  • Variable Edge: More forgiving and round at the center, sharper at the tail. Releases easy for spins and tip tricks
  • Newly designed 3D Concave Top Deck: Shaped to better lock your feet in an aggressive ollie position as well as provide increased heel and toe response. Makes any lip tricks easier and gives feet more feel and control of the deck.
  • Improved US Marine Grade Epoxy Outer Seal: 12 step process in our new southern California factory that keeps the elements out and makes these boards more durable than any wood decks in the market
  • Aggressive 3 Stage Rocker: Serious Snap
