The Race Face Evolve DH BB is designed for the DH/DS racer looking for a strong bottom bracket for their single chainring setup. • CNC machined, heat treated, hollow M12 chromoly spindle.

The Evolve XC BB uses the lighter M15 spindle and in intended for cross country riding.
All Evolve Series BB's feature slide on cartridge bearings with full ball construction. These are lighter, stiffer and feature a higher load carrying capacity than the typical one-piece cartridge bearings. And with twice as many balls per bearing as the competitors, these bottom brackets spin smoother and last longer. To further enhance performance Race Face uses their own proprietary grease formula. This increases the bearing life up to four times.

ISIS Explained:
ISIS bottom bracket spindles feature a 10-flute spline, one-degree tapers and 16mm long splined ends. Increased crank/spindle interface spreads loads over a wider surface area. One-degree tapers provide a creak-free tolerance fit. The stop shoulder design prevents distortion to the crank arm socket from repeated removal/installation. Oversized bolts prevent loosening or creaking. ISIS bottom brackets will only fit ISIS splined cranks.
